RTB001: Collserola – Tibidabo - Vallvidiera
47 km – 905 m
28,86 miles – 3.080 feet
This route will take you from our shop to the top of Tibidabo, the most famous of the peaks that are in the Natural Park of Collserola and where you can stop for a drink in the restaurant that is there or simply enjoy the magnificent views of the city of Barcelona. Then, the track will take you to the other side of the mountains, to Sant Cugat del Vallès, a city not as big as Barcelona but where you will find bars, restaurants, shops where you can buy some liquid or solid and even, for those who do not want to pedal more, is the option to take the train back. You can read some lines about the regulations on bicycles in trains in this article: train & bike from barcelona
On the way back, the route crosses the mountains again, this time using another road, one of the most beautiful in the Natural Park and also the least traveled. You will forget that you are in Barcelona because of the tranquility that is breathed there.
Once crowned the port, back down to Barcelona, you will go back to our bike store through the streets of the Catalan capital city.

RTB002: Collserola – Forat del Vent - Tibidabo
44 km – 870 m
This route will guide you from our cycling store to Collserola. In this route you will have to overcome two ports and the first one of the day, shorter and less step, is the “Forat del vent”, “hole of the wind” in Catalan. Once climbing, the road will offer you beautiful views of the city of Barcelona. Once up, descend to Cerdanyola del Vallés. In this town you can buy food, liquid or stop for a coffee, like in Sant Cugat, as we mentioned in the description of the previous route, those who do not want to pedal more will have the option of taking the train back to Barcelona.
From Cerdanyola, the track will guide you to Sant Cugat, where you will take the road that climbs Tibidabo. Above Tibidabo, almost mandatory stop to observe the beauty of the city of Barcelona from above.
You will resume the march and descend to Barcelona.
RTB003: Collserola Total
64,5 km – 1350 m
This route runs through Collserola in its entirety. It is a long route with no flats, not far from the city of Barcelona.
The first climb of the day will be the “Forat del Vent” (“Hole of the Wind”), a pleasant ride to get your legs ready. Once crowned, the track will take you down to Cerdanyola and from there to connect with Sant Cugat. In both locations there are shops and restaurants so you can stop to buy food or drink if you need it.
From Sant Cugat, the track goes to the top of Tibidabo, from where you can see magnificent views of the city of Barcelona.
From Tibidabo you will go back down to the residential neighbourhood of La Floresta, again in Sant Cugat but without getting to the city. There you can stop for a coffee and enjoy the tranquility of the neighbourhood.
From there, direction Sant Bartomeu de la Quadra to go up the nicest and quietest road in Collserola. It will not seem that you are so close to Barcelona because of the tranquility that will be breath.
