The best guided bicycle routes in Tarragona

Perhaps one of its most popular routes is the greenway, ideal to do with hybrid bicycles and that runs through very quiet and sparsely populated areas, only dotted with small and picturesque villages. The greenway ends in Tortosa, very close to the Delta del Ebro which also offers very good routes and gastronomic proposals of the highest level to discover by bicycle.

All these routes can also be done with MTB and, with some variations, offer fun alternatives to do with this type of bicycles. As far as road bicycles are concerned, there is no more to say that one of the most renowned cyclists of Spain, the Polar Gran Fondo, is celebrated in this area and that some of the most interesting stages of the Volta Catalunya are remembered have finished in the province of Tarragona. The Costa Dorada is also undoubtedly a great attraction for sports tourists who can combine the sport of cycling with swimming or family beach tourism along its coast.
