Today, there are many professionals who have chosen this city as a place of residence and training.
Three teams have their headquarters here: EF Education First- Drapac, Mitchelton-Scott and Israel Cycling Academy. Robert Gesink, Kittel, Van Garderen, Woods, De la Cruz, Benett, Stuyven, Yates, train in Girona. Also, the professional women’s teams start to bring their riders to Girona to enjoy all the advantages offered by this bicycle-friendly city.
